BOARD ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Co-Presidents - Ryan Jones & Aly McAlister

Face of the Sun Valley Pool Association

Finance - Ian Castille

Communicate past, current, and potential future financial position to internal stakeholders; With external accountant handle the bulk of day-to-day reconciliation activities

Membership - Alexis Casey

Recruit returning and new members; Manage gate access system (key cards); Keep current/future waitlists; Author and distribute all member communications*

Operations - Dan Lynch

Facility maintenance, odd jobs.

Infrastructure- Neil Hake

Responsible for all Capital Expenditure projects; Work with architects, City of Lafayette, and County; Perfect fit for anyone with a construction management background/interest.

Volunteers - Katie Keil

Manage volunteer program; maintain sign up spreadsheet; Collect hours worked/confirm refunds

Lifeguards - Aly McAlister

Recruit guards; Arrange (re)certification/trainings; Manage guard schedule

Secretary - Lisa Carlson

Take and publish meeting notes; *This responsibility can also sit with the Secretary

Social Chair – Deanne Vargas

Organize and execute 4-5 member events per season; Recruit support team/committee; Set up party schedule and process (via SUG or other sign up means); Field party requests; Confirm parties with membership once lifeguard coverage is set; Take payment; Follow up, etc.

Swim Team Directors - Josh & Jill Taylor

Manage all aspects of swim season
