Volunteering Commitment

Our pool runs on its members!

The member volunteer deposit is $300. Complete all your volunteering hours and your deposit will be refunded (we do not prorate). The volunteer commitment is 6 hours and you may choose from a number of jobs throughout the pool season, ranging from covering the pool at night to general cleanup. If you don't claim your refund by October 30, 2024, it will be considered a donation to the pool. Thank you. 

If you are not interested in volunteer hours, members may buy out of their requirement for $500. This buyout option will help us better plan how to meet our pool needs. Please note that the pool will keep these buyout funds in the Sun Valley community. We had success hiring children of Sun Valley members to help with pool cleanup this past winter, and we will be using buyout funds to hire and pay Sun Valley kids to help us throughout the season as needed.
