SVST is a recreational swim team that welcomes swimmers of all abilities and strives for a balance of competition, sportsmanship, friendship, and fun. With a high ratio of coaches to swimmers at age-level, skill-defined practice groups, SVST offers a supportive, systematic coaching environment that provides the tools to improve stroke techniques, develop healthy competition skills, and learn good sportsmanship. Known throughout the County for our boisterous team spirit, SVST offers a variety of social activities for swimmers and families that, along with daily practice and bi-weekly meets, help swimmers form meaningful, lasting friendships while working together with our coaches for a common goal--swim fast, support our teammates, and have fun! Registering for the Sun Valley Swim Team (SVST) is a 2-Step process
Registration Opens February 1st. Space is limited.
- First, your family must be Sun Valley Pool Members or on the membership waitlist (exception made for swimmers ages 15-18 only). New families sign-up here. Returning families please log in to review or renew your membership.
- Complete your swim team registration and team payment on the Sun Valley Swim Team website. This Team Site is where all of your Team interactions will occur, including practice and meet schedules, declaring for meets, registering for your Team Volunteer Job(s), tracking your swimmer's records and finding valuable communications.
Swim Team 2026 Fee Schedule
Ages 4-14 pay $650 per swimmer (families must volunteer for swim team jobs which is a separate responsibility from pool volunteer requirements)
Ages 15-18 pay $185 per swimmer with NO swim team volunteer jobs and pool membership is not required
There is no additional family activity fee for 2026.
Please remember that all Sun Valley Swim Team (SVST) members must be Sun Valley Pool (SVSPA) members in good standing. Swimmers must also be able to almost swim the length of the pool without assistance to be eligible for swim team. If you have any questions please contact our team director to determine if swim team will be a good fit for you child. Full swim team refund, minus a $50 processing fee, available if cancellation request received before April 30th otherwise no swim team refunds.
New families interested in the Sun Valley Swim Team can participate in our Spring Practice every April without being a pool or swim team member to see if their kid(s) like the instruction and team vibe. Swim Lessons
Our Sun Valley Swim Team Coaches offer private swim lessons. One-on-one instruction is beneficial to swimmers of all levels and abilities. Payments are the responsibility of the student (and parent) and are owed directly to the Coach; the prices range from $20-$30 per 20 minute lesson. Check out the signup form from the Membership area.
